Kara

Hi there! My name is Kara, and I am an author and IIN certified health
coach and holistic nutritionist. I support individuals in their food and
lifestyle habits so they can restore their gut health and relieve
anxiety, all while maintaining a healthy relationship with food.

Part of my expertise with health and nutrition coaching is my
sensitivity towards the development and healing of disordered eating.
The foundation of my coaching practice is that I firmly believe we can
be empowered to make the best, healthiest decisions for our gut health
and wellbeing while also having food and body freedom and enjoying life
to its full potential.

Clients who work with me can expect to be guided based on their goals,
while also healing any root cause of illness, disease, or issue. My
coaching is guided by holistic well-being principles of gut health,
whole food nutrition, and non-toxic living. Our intricate and amazing
bodies are always trying to heal us even when we’re sick. When we remove
what the body doesn’t like, and add things it wants instead, we can
expect drastic shifts in the quality of our health.

I am also California Board Certified Registered Nurse and recipe creator
focusing on anti-inflammatory and sugar-free cooking and baking. I’ve
taught cooking classes and online video food blog through my social
media and Youtube pages.

My 8 year extensive background in bedside nursing has given me the
opportunity to work with behavioral health, cardiac and surgical ICU
patients and greatly adds to my perspectives and ability to support my
clients in health and nutrition coaching.
